Fuco Ueda is a female surrealist artist from Japan. Along with James Jean, she is one of the few artists who continues to mesmerize and inspire me with her consistently beautiful work. The technique and skill in her painting is amazing, the subject matter borders on the macabre yet always remains feminine, sensual and captivating.

Peter Calleson is an artist from Denmark who creates these amazing pieces of work from almost entirely paper and glue. His work ranges from A4 paper sizes to large scale installations. When I see work like this my jaw drops. The skill it takes to cut and assemble this kind of art from paper is truly inspiring.

Every fashionista has a soft spot for a bunny wearing Marc, Chloe, & Chanel. And Fifi Lapin is that bunny who will brighten your day and at the same time make you swoon over the season’s best clothes. At my office almost every girl has a Fifi drawing pinned up at their desk. I have this beautiful “Daydreaming in Chloe” illustration above my monitor with the words “Smile” drawn onto it. It reminds me everyday that life is beautiful.

I was reading Audrey Kawasaki’s (an artist I absolutely love) blog and came across these amazing illustrations by the artist Vania Zouravliov. Mysteriously morbid but still sexy in the same breath.
